Stems & Gems is a year-long yarn club inspired by the birth flower and birthstone of each month — a slow, thoughtful collection that blends botanical softness with a touch of sparkle.

This mystery yarn club will run from January to December of 2026, and will feature 2 brand-new colourways each month; a variegated inspired by each month's birth flower, and a tonal inspired by each month's birth stone. Choose from 1 skein of the variegated or 1 of the tonal, the combo (1 of each variegated and tonal), or the sock set which includes a full-sized skein in the variegated, and the tonal mini skein.

The Stems & Gems Quarterly Subscription will be open for purchase from December 22nd 2025 to January 10th 2026. At the end of each quarter, we will open subscriptions from the 1st to the 10th for the following quarter. Once subscribed, you will receive your selected base and colourway quarterly until the subscription ends in December 2026 (last billing day September 15th 2026).

If you wish to cancel your subscription, please do so by emailing us (you'll receive our email in your order confirmation email). Supplies are ordered well in advance and our dye schedule is created at the start of the month prior, so as much notice as possible is much appreciated. Subscriptions paid in full are a final sale and cancellations are not possible.

Cancellations for monthly subscriptions must be received by the 10th day of the month before your last desired shipment. For example, if you want April's yarn to be your last month that you receive, you must email us by March 10th to cancel. Cancellations for quarterly subscriptions must be received by the 10th day of the last month of the quarter. For example, if you want Q1's yarn to be your last shipment, you must email us by March 10th to cancel.

Two subscription intervals are available:

Monthly: you will be charged each month on the 15th, and your order will ship within the last week of that month and first week of the following month. Eg. If you order January's yarn, your order will ship between the last week of December and the first week of January. February's yarn will be charged on January 15th and will ship between the last week of January and the first week of February. If you are subscribing to the Stems & Gems Yarn Club monthly subscription later in the year, please note that your subscription begins immediately and will not be back-dated. Eg. If you subscribe in March you will receive April's S&G colourway and each month going forward, but will not receive previous months, ie January, February, etc. For the monthly subscription option, click here.

Quarterly: you will be charged each quarter on the 15th day of the last month of the current quarter, and your order of three months' work of product will ship in the last week of that quarter. Eg. if you order Q1, your order will ship at the end of March. Q2 will be charged on March 15th and will ship the last week of June. If you are subscribing to the Stems & Gems Yarn Club quarterly subscription later in the year, please note that your subscription begins immediately and will not be back-dated. Eg. If you subscribe in March you will receive Q2's three S&G colourways and each quarter going forward, but will not receive previous quarters, ie Q1 (January, February, & March) etc.

**Shipping is INCLUDED for this subscription, to delivery addresses in Canada and the USA. This offer is limited to this club only, and cannot be combined with other items, including in-stock yarn, notions or other yarn collections. For American customers, tariffs are included. Eco Sock is tariff exempt, as it's milled in Canada and qualifies for CUSMA.
